Bree McCann (nee Warren) is a body positive pioneer, globetrotter and quintessential Australian beach girl.
Beginning her international modelling career in 2011, Bree has spent the best part of a decade working around the world, first in Europe and then New York, cementing herself as one of Australia’s most sought-after curvy exports.
In late 2018, Bree decided to return home to Australia, settling on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with her now husband Mitch McCann.
Bree was the first curve model to feature on the cover of Women’s Health Australia as well as the first to walk the MBFWA Runway in 2018. Both of which were lifelong dreams – proving that beauty and health are not a size.
Having been featured in the likes of Vogue, Elle, Grazia, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Glamour, Bree is proud to be part of the new wave of models challenging size stereotypes in the industry.
With her strong social following and endless international travel, Bree has built a career working with like-minded brands to create relatable, confidence-inspiring content.
In 2019, Bree launched her own brand Code B – a swimwear label bringing diversity, inclusivity and body confidence to the beach.
Holding degrees in both Journalism and Business Management from the University of Queensland, Bree has penned several published pieces and makes regular TV appearances.
Bree is also a keen surfer and has long understood the importance of leading a healthy, active lifestyle. It was this lifestyle and passion for travel that led her to launch The Wave Provocateur in 2015, a surf and travel site she still shares with her husband, Mitch.
